The client* is a Dutch organization providing medical and financial advice about work injuries. The company is based in the center of the country, and employs around 50 specialists.

Digital transformation

In 2020, the client started a big digital transformation that involved a new ERP solution, Finance & Operations and HR applications, along with hardware replacement. They aimed to build a good data foundation and centralize all information, making use of solutions that could be seamlessly integrated. The choice fell on Microsoft systems.

The client chose as their main implementation partner, one of the leading technology transformation providers in the country, with a strong Microsoft partnership. It consists of several companies offering specific solutions to each problem in the following areas: Data & AI, the Workplace, Cloud & Infra, and Business Apps.

FourVision as an HRM partner

As a Microsoft partner for Human Resources, FourVision was hired to deliver Dynamics 365 HR.

In the first project phase, FourVision streamlined HR foundation data across all HRM systems, implemented the Organization Management and the Personnel Management modules. In the second phase, the Leave & Absence feature was added.

Challenges

The implementation team faced a few challenges at the beginning of the project. The client wanted to include overtime and workspace desk registration. Technically, it was only possible to deliver the overtime registration application in a limited way. Workspace desk registration is not currently supported by Dynamics 365 HR, but FourVision consultants have found another solution to this problem — Outlook.

Mutual effort

This project was a fast-track implementation. All three parties — the client, partner and FourVision — collaborated effectively defining goals, setting up all systems and training admin users. The project was finalized by September 2021.

Feedback

The client is satisfied with the project and the results FourVision delivered.

“FourVision came in to fill the gap in HR that we were missing with our new ERP. And we didn’t know what to expect, but Rebecca came in and she helped us immensely understanding the system, giving us the proper documentation and letting us know about all the capabilities in place”, said the client’s Office Manager.

“It was a good collaboration. A lot of interest was shown by all parties involved, leading to a very successful implementation”, said Rebecca Hess, Lead Implementation Consultant at FourVision.

“From the first demo, it was clear that FourVision had what it was required for our client. Then Rebecca came in, went on location to support the client, the communication was frequent and that ultimately led to a successful delivery”, said the partner’s Senior Project Manager.
