This weeks Partner Monday is all about the second second release wave for Microsoft Dynamics 365. These new features will be released from October 2020 through March 2021.
Dynamics 365 Release wave 2 includes updates for numerous Dynamics platforms, such as Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Central, Customer Service, Field Service and Fraud Protection. We’re not going to cover all of them, because we only want to highlight the most important changes. Let’s start off with our favorite!
Human Resources
Dynamics 365 Human Resources expands the capabilities of Leave and Absence and Benefits Management to transform employee experience. From now on, employees and managers are able to manage Leave and Absence within Microsoft Teams. This enables streamlined integrations to payroll and recruiting partner, which makes a completer Human Capital Management ecosystem.
Marketing
Dynamics 365 Marketing has added a new integration with Microsoft Teams for virtual events. This update enhances the customer journey canvas experience. The solution also received a new natural language experience which helps to create a segment. This allows for a better way of promoting goods and services.
Sales
Dynamics 365 Sales received a new mobile experience that allows for a quicker access to customer information. In modern times, it is important to be able to access your customer data on any device on any given time. Microsoft’s sales solution also gained an enhancement to better forecast processes through bottom-up sales.
