HR Teams App
Microsoft has added new functionalities to the HR Teams App:
- Submitters and approvers of time-off requests will receive a notification in the HR App in Teams. Moreover, approvers will be able to approve or deny time-off request, whereas submitters will be notified about updates in their request.
- Managers are now able to see reports about approved and pending leave in a calendar view, which allows managers to easily understand when employees are away from work.
Dynamics 365 2020 release wave 2
Microsoft just announced their release wave plan for wave 2, which takes place from October 2020 through March 2021. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources gets the following update:
- Expanding of the current Leave & Absence solution and expanding of Benefits Management capabilities to transform the employee experience. This allows managers and employees to manage Leave & Absence directly from Microsoft Teams.
This update enables streamlined integrations to recruiting and payroll partners.
